Architectural concept and Materials:
The project´s goal is to open up the space, create visual perspectives and establish the continuity of the programme atmospheres. By getting rid of the idea of the corridors and turning them into an integrated part of the spaces through which the main circulation runs, the project generates one main visual axis that connects the house from one end to the other. It is for this purpose that the kitchen dining and the circulation axis that connects public and private areas of the house, blend in a unique space divided only by a sliding transparent enclosure that blurs the limits between one part of the programme and the other.  Material palette: tinted and varnished white plaster, limestone, mild steel, lime washed oak, custom made industrial hinges and ironmongery, aged mirrors.
